The Uzbek Minister of Internal Affairs, Major-General Abdusalom Azizov and the delegation of CASIC (Chinese Aerospace Research and Industrial Corporation) have discussed the introduction of the “Safe City” system in Tashkent. According to the press service of the Uzbek Interior Ministry, Azizov said this visit is a consistent continuation of bilateral cooperation of the friendly countries, which received a new impetus after the recent visit of the Uzbek president to China. During this visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the Chinese Aerospace Research and Industrial Corporation and got acquainted with the presentation of the “Safe City” system.

Worth noting, the introduction of the specialized hardware and software complex “Safe City” has already begun in Uzbekistan. This process is handled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, although only a small part of the plan has been implemented so far, the main thing is that the first steps have been taken to improve public security in Tashkent, using advanced information and communication technologies.

During the implementation of this project, the specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan worked with Russian specialists, as well as with Chinese companies that are engaged in the development of high technologies. Eventually, they opted for the CASIC. According to Azizov, the visit of this corporation's delegation is very timely.

The head of the Chinese delegation, Sun Xin (who is also deputy general director of CASIC), spoke in detail about the activities of the corporation, about the areas of application of its products and developments, including public and state security. Sun Xin also announced the readiness of CASIC to cooperate with Uzbekistan.
