Kyrgyzstan to cut civil service staff

Kyrgyzstan will cut civil service staff by 20 percent, KyrTAG reported with reference to the government press-service.

Prime Minister Almazbek Atambayev ordered the ministers and department heads to make proposals on cutting during a week.

"The state apparatus should be effective," he mentioned. Also, Atambayev stressed the need to increase tax collection and increase revenue part of the budget, as well as prevent corruption.
