Kyrgyz voters active in their registration

Kyrgyzstan citizens are active in including their names into voter's lists, the Central Election Commission's (CEC) member Ishenbay Kadirbekov said on Monday, KyrTAG reports.

"Kyrgyz citizens are very active in including their names in the voter's lists," Kadirbekov said.The specification procedure will finish on Oct. 20.

Each region of the country has one administrator involved in this procedure. Big cities, such as Bishkek and Osh has about 3-4 administrators.

Keldibekov said CEC will consider increasing the number of administrators, as the system administrators don't keep pace with registering those willing to specify their names.

As many as 2,871,859 citizens enjoy a voting right in Kyrgyzstan. The presidential elections are scheduled for Oct. 30.
