Israeli Foreign Minister Held Talks with Azerbaijan

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who arrived in the capital of Azerbaijan on an official visit, spent a number of important negotiations. The most important of them were the talks between the Head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the President Ilham Aliyev. As noted in the official press service of the Head of Azerbaijan, "during the meeting of President Ilham Aliyev with Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, deep satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel in various activities was expressed".
Also, according to the press service, during the talks, productive exchange of views on issues concerning development of Israel and Azerbaijan cooperation in the agricultural sector and high technology sphere, took place.
After the talks with the President of Azerbaijan, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs was received in the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. During his meeting with Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the current state of affairs in relations between the two states, discussing issues related to the development of cooperation in various fields - political, commercial, economic, humanitarian, scientific and technical.
The Minister Avigdor Lieberman also noted that, there are well-established close ties between Israel and Azerbaijan. He praised highly the role of the Jewish community in the country in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries" - the diplomatic Israeli mission in Baku reported.
In addition, according to the official information given by Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, after the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, the Protocol on regular diplomatic consultations between the two Departments was signed.
