Uzbekistan is witnessing the introduction of the system of e-justice into practice. Within its framework, about 130 specialists participated in specialized training sessions devoted to further expansion of the use of E-SUD (the National Information System for Electronic Proceedings). Among them, there were judges, chairmen of courts, heads of offices of inter-district civil courts, employees of the State Tax Inspectorate and various public services, as well as lawyers from three provinces: Ferghana, Namangan and Andijan.

The report of the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan submitted to the republic's parliament after summarizing the results of the government's activities in 2016 has been deemed satisfactory by the deputies. After discussing the report of Prime Minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov, 98 deputies approved the work of the government, and 9 deputies disapproved it. The Kyrgyz PM stressed in his speech, “The economic situation stabilized in 2016, which enabled us to lay the foundation for achieving the long-term goals of the republic's development.”

Tajikistan's government have been submitted a draft law providing for the introduction of an alternative service in the republic. Minister of Defense Sherali Mirzo reported this news during the consideration of the law “On Military Service and Military Duty” on April 26. According to the head of the defense department, significant financial resources will be needed to implement this project. In his words, in case of martial law, up to 45,000 officers will be needed in Tajikistan, and currently there are a total of 1,270,000 officers in reserve.

In Kyrgyzstan, a new draft law has been submitted for general discussion. It envisages a number of amendments to the current Housing Code of the Republic, and to the Code of Administrative Responsibility. In accordance with them, it is proposed to allow hourly and daily rent of apartments in the country once again. Worth recalling, since January 10, 2017, renting out apartments for days and hours has been an administrative crime punishable with fines, which amounted to UZS7,000 for individuals, UZS9,000 for officials, and up to UZS70,000 for legal entities.

Uzbekistan plans to open a number of new consular offices in the CIS countries, since the existing overseas institutions do not cope with the rapidly increasing migration flows. Before the end of 2017, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan will install five divisions of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems for combat duty. The republic received them from the Russian Federation.
