In Uzbekistan, the Committee on Friendly Relations with Foreign Countries and Inter-Ethnic Relations was established under the Cabinet of Ministers in accordance with the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to the document, this structure was created on the basis of the Council of Societies of Friendship and Cultural and Educational Relations with Foreign Countries and the Republican International Cultural Center.


During the meeting of the presidents of Tajikistan and Egypt Emomali Rahmon and Abdulfattah al-Sisi in Riyadh (the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), the sides discussed prospects for further development of relations between the two countries.
