In the framework of the state program “Year of healthy mother and child,” Uzbekistan has allocated $80 million in the forms of loans and grants on equipment of medical institutions of the republic with modern medical and diagnostic equipment. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said, “In the course of the program, about nine million women of childbearing age, and almost ten million children underwent medical examination. Steps have been taken towards their health improvement.”



On November 23, during a plenary session of the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, the deputies approved the draft of the new law “On introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan related to the issues of compulsory health social insurance.” “The Committee proposed to amend Article 53 of the Budget Code of the Republic, Subparagraph 5 of Paragraph 1,” deputy Zauresh Amanzholova said during the presentation of the draft law.

According to him, the value of this agreement amounts to $5 million.


On October 3, Kazakhstan begins mass influenza vaccination of the population.
