Kazakhstan has ratified the amendments to the Agreement on the specifics of the legal regulation of the activities of railway transport organizations, institutions and enterprises, which was concluded by the governments of Kazakhstan and Russia on October 18, 1996. Minister of National Economy Timur Suleimenov reported this information on June 13, while delivering a speech at the government meeting. “The statistical information for the five months of 2017 has been released. The dynamics of the GDP growth rate has been quite positive. In particular, the growth was 4.1 percent as compared to the same period of 2016,” the minister said. In his words, the production industry demonstrated the most dynamic growth rate (7.8 percent) during the reporting period.
