The first National Road Safety Forum has been held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. It gathered all the road users: representatives of the relevant state bodies, road inspectors, motorists and pedestrians. The initiator of this event was the faction of the national parliament “Onuguu-Progress.” The event's partner was the NGO “Road Safety.” The participants of the forum unanimously agreed that it was necessary to improve the overall system, increasing the literacy of both motorists and pedestrians, improving their culture of behavior.

Over the last 12 years, poverty in Tajikistan has declined by over 50 percent. According to the recent report of the World Bank, in the period 2003-2015, the poverty level fell from 73 to 31 percent in Tajikistan. In general, poverty has declined significantly; however, its level still remains high. According to the World Bank, 13 percent of Tajikistan's population live below the poverty line, and this figure has not changed since 2009. With that, 81 percent of the poor live in rural areas.

The 14th Eurasian Media Forum took place in the capital of Kazakhstan. The event began on June 22 and ended on June 24. More than 500 delegates representing 60 countries of the world took part in the 2017 forum. On June 22, the upper chamber of the Kazakh parliament (the Senate) approved the draft law “On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of Kazakhstan Concerning the Issues of Their Compliance with the Constitution of the Country” in the first reading. This document provides for the possibility of deprivation of citizenship as a punishment for committing particularly serious crimes, including terrorism-related ones. The purpose of the draft law is to bring the current legislative acts in line with the recent amendments to the republic's constitution.

A recent analysis of the health care system of Uzbekistan revealed a number of serious shortcomings in its activities. That is why the president of the country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed a decree on reforming the industry, which envisages a number of transformations. The health care system will be conditionally divided into four levels. The highest level is republican; it involves the provision of the most advanced high-tech medical services in the specialized areas. The second is the regional level, at which similar medical services will be provided in the regional centers.

In Moscow, the presidents of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, Vladimir Putin and Almazbek Atambaev, signed a Declaration on strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries. The signing ceremony took place following the state visit of A. Atambayev to Russia and his meeting with the head of the Russian state. Both sides of the agreement reaffirmed their intentions to further develop the strategic partnership and to continue the coordination of their foreign policy activities.

The organizer of the event was the “Eurasian Commonwealth,” a Russian fund for social and economic development headquartered in Chelyabinsk.
