In the near future, small specialized industrial zones will be created in all districts of Tashkent. According to the relevant decree of the President of Uzbekistan, the land plots and production areas for the formation of such zones will be provided on a long-term lease for a period of 10 years. It will be possible to extend this period for another 10 years, if the companies fulfill their agreements on implementation of projects, and timely pay all the taxes and other mandatory payments.

Starting from June 1, 2017, economic entities of Uzbekistan will be allowed to export goods of their own production without prepayment, excluding fresh fruit and vegetable products, melons, grapes, and raw materials. Starting from July 1, 2017, Uzbekistan will introduce a new procedure of payment for the consumption of natural gas and electricity. According to local media, this will be done in accordance with the new decree of the republic's president. From now on, individual consumers of these services will have to pay in full for natural gas and electric energy consumed during the previous 30 days before the 10th day of each month. In cases of debt, individuals will inevitably be disconnected from gas distribution and electricity networks.

According to the press service of the concern, this measure is explained by the fact that the procedure for inventory of vehicle balances is carried out during the period May 29-31, 2017. “After the completion of the inventory process, the delivery of cars will be performed at the prices indicated in the concluded contracts,” the press release reads.

In the territory of Yukorichirchik District (Tashkent Province, Uzbekistan), there will be built and put into operation modern refrigerating chambers with a total storage capacity of 1,000 tons. These low-temperature chambers will use modern storage technologies. They will be built in the territory of the enterprise “Agroinnovatsiya,” which is owned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic. In Uzbekistan, there have been approved the main parameters of the project for construction of a high-speed double-track electrified ring railway around Tashkent. Local publications reported this news referring to the relevant presidential decree of Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to the document, the total cost of the project is approximately $320 million. It will be implemented in several stages in the period 2017-2021.

China has provided Uzbekistan with a grant that envisages the transfer of four large-scale inspection complexes for controlling railway cargo and 10 sets of scanning systems for controlling medium-sized cargoes to the customs service of the republic. The new structure will be created in the form of a limited liability company, with an initial authorized capital of UZS50 billion. The loans will be accommodated for the acquisition of modern equipment, machinery, materials and raw materials.
