Currently, Uzmobile is acquiring measuring equipment of the famous Finnish manufacturer Anite Finland. On March 15, an automatic system for fixing offenses committed on the road was put into operation in the capital of Uzbekistan. A representative of the press service of the Tashkent Traffic Safety Administration reported the news. “At 115 crossings, the video surveillance cameras have been installed. They will automatically record any violations of the traffic rules by road users,” the representative of the department noted.

 

As pointed out, during the first stage, the cameras will record only two violations: red light running and speeding.

The new structure will be formed on the basis of the already existing Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics. In Uzbekistan, there has begun the development of a project for establishment of the Innovation Center in the republic's capital; it is designed to become a rough analogue of the world famous American Silicon Valley. As reported by the Ministry for Development of Communications and Information Technology, the Inha University in Tashkent will become the venue for the Center, as a pilot project. Over time, the project should gradually be transformed into a free economic zone where the Uzbek IT companies will focus their high-tech production.
