Kyrgyzstan will annually mark the Day of April Public Revolution on April 7, KyrTAG reports.

Kyrgyz parliament made a relevant decision during its Thursday parliamentary session.

MP Ismail Isakov, who initiated the bill, said this date should be annually celebrated taking in memory of those who self-sacrificed in their fight for Kyrgyzstan's freedom.

Some Kyrgyz MPs offered to cancel the celebration of March 24 as the Day of Public Revolution, which was marked after the 2005 Tulip Revolution.

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) received 127 claims and complaints about violations committed during presidential elections, 24.kg news agency reported.

This was reported by the member of the CEC Gulnara Dzhurabaeva at the CEC's session.

According to Dzhurabaeva, 92 complaints were received from citizens, 24 - from presidential candidates and their representatives. The latter had 30 statements and 24 applications of citizens.

The Kyrgyz Central Election Commission has not considered the protocols and summary tables with voting results from territorial election commissions, as they will not be considered at all, CEC press service told AKIpress today.

The working group accepts the protocols and summary tables with voting results from the territorial election commissions, CA-NEWS reported.

About 56 of 58 protocols and summary tables were received.

Kyrgyzstan's Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced tentative results of the presidential elections, 24.kg news agency reported.

According to the CEC, they have processed 100 percent of poll deeds from 2,318 polling stations. Final turnout is 1 million 858 thousand 596 people or 61.28 percent of the electorate.

Almazbek Atambayev keeps forging ahead (63.24 percent of votes). He is followed by Adakhan Madumarov (14.77) and Kamchybek Tashiyev (14.32).

Percent voting:

Temirbek Asanbekov - 0.93;

Omurbek Suvanaliyev - 0.87;

Tursunbai Bakir uulu - 0.84;

Six presidential candidates do not recognize the elections' results In Kyrgyzstan, 24.kg news agency reported.

According to Kamchibek Tashiyev, in the south voters block roads and capture administrative buildings. "They do not believe the power and this power steps at the same rake. Observers also sit and nicely lie. I officially declare that we do not recognize the results of these elections," he said.

Presidential candidate Kurmanbek Osmonov noted that the influence of administrative resources was felt long before the elections. "But everyone is silent," he added.

Kyrgyz President Rosa Otunbayeva will make a televised appeal to voters through the Kyrgyz central televisions channels on Oct. 28, the president's press service reported.

Her speech will be broadcasted on OTRK, Channel Five, Pyramid, Stan TV, NTS , NBT, MIR ElTR channels.

The presidential elections will be held in Kyrgyzstan on Oct. 30 and come the first after the change of power in April 2010.

The election campaign began on Sept. 25.

Kyrgyzstan's government appeared to be doing everything possible to ensure a democratic vote in Sunday's upcoming elections, a European Union official said, DPA reported.

"The government is doing all that is necessary to ensure rule of law and stability in the preparation for the vote and in carrying out the election," Pierre Morel, EU special representative for Central Asia, said Monday.

Morel was in the Kyrgyzstan capital Bishkek and was to meet with interim president Roza Otunbayeva. His remarks were published in a statement on Otunbayeva's official website.

Member of the Kyrgyz mission to the UN Arslanbek Umetaliev said his country had made progress with the poverty rate having fallen from 33 per cent to 3 per cent over the last decade.

"Major progress had been made in ensuring access to drinking water, education and women's political participation," Umetaliev said speaking at the 13th and 124th meeting of the Second Committee of the 66th General Assembly on Oct.17.

Regarding the future goals, he said the matter is more equalizing socio-economic development, preserving the environment and quelling ethnic tensions.

Kyrgyzstan citizens are active in including their names into voter's lists, the Central Election Commission's (CEC) member Ishenbay Kadirbekov said on Monday, KyrTAG reports.

"Kyrgyz citizens are very active in including their names in the voter's lists," Kadirbekov said.The specification procedure will finish on Oct. 20.

Each region of the country has one administrator involved in this procedure. Big cities, such as Bishkek and Osh has about 3-4 administrators.

Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the schedule of agricultural trade fairs in Bishkek, Osh and other Kyrgyz cities, the government reported.

The fairs in Bishkek will be held in October-November on Saturdays from 9 am till 2 pm.

The government estimates the fairs as a consumer price-cutting instrument, caused by straight contact of producers and consumers.

The prices at the fair will be lower than the average market prices - by 20 percents for vegetables, 10-15 percent for meat, and by 15 percent for local producers' macaroni products.
