In the Kazakh city of Seven people got injured as a result of an explosion at a gas station in Pavlodar , Kazakhstan, the Emergency Situations Department of Pavlodar province told Trend.

"A 25-liter gas exploded at one of the gas stations. Supposedly the gas tank was in the living room where food was cooked. Another 50-liter gas tank was seized from the scene," press secretary of the Emergency Situations Department of Pavlodar province Azhar Abylgazina said.

According to her, five workers and two passersby were injured. The injuries are not serious.

Five people were killed and eleven were heavily injured when the passenger bus Man collided with a Kamaz truck in Kazakhstan's Zhambyl region, Kazinform reported with the reference to region's Deputy Attorney General Halidulla Daueshov.

The crash occurred on Almaty-Shymkent highway near the city of Turar Ryskulov on Wednesday night. The bus carrying 45 passengers and two drivers crashed in the KamAZ truck loaded with railroad rails which was standing on the roadside.

A Bell 206L3 helicopter, owned by the ZHERSU AVIA Company, flying en route to Burunday-Karaozek, made an emergency landing near the village of Bakanas, Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications said today.

No one was injured.

Specialists from the aircraft accident and incident investigation department under the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications have arrived at the scene.

The shots slightly damaged a wall and metal door of the administrative building.

The Police of Almaty region detained a 31-year-old local resident suspected of firing at the building.

The suspect is being questioned in the Alakol police department. He confessed that he was drunk and fired at the building of the regional department of National Security Committee out of hooliganism.

The Kazakh Chief Military Prosecutor's Office announced the cause of death of the chief of the Border Service Academy of the National Security Committee, Major General Esetov Talgat Malgajdarovich.

'All the evidence collected on the case enables us to ascertain that Esetov died as a result of suicide committed using his government-issue weapon', the report says.

The cause of suicide according to the investigators was due to being in an intense emotional state caused by being under suspicion of abuse of power.

The investigation of the criminal case on Esetov's suicide continues.

Kazakh General Transport Prosecutor's Office investigating the helicopter MI-8 crash has published results of forensic medical examinations of eight people killed in the crash.

According to experts, the death of all 8 members of the crew and passengers of helicopter MI-8 resulted from aviation injuries and falls from heights.

The examinations were conducted by Taldykorgan Branch of Centre of Forensic Expertise.

'The Kazakh Air Force military transport aircraft fleet has been replenished by an Antonov family - AN-72cargo jet. The investigation of the case of the murder of 15 people at the Arkankergen temporary border post has been completed in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh General Military Prosecutor's Office said today.

'The investigation of the criminal case against serviceman Chelakh, accused of murder and other crimes was completed on October 2, 2012', a statement said.

The person has been accused on nine articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The trial will be by jury.

A criminal case was submitted to the court for consideration on Oct. 31, 2012.
