Kazakhstan To Establish Regional Armed Forces

Kazakhstan will create the territorial armed forces, as reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Talgat Mukhtarov in his speech during the presentation of the new draft law “On introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan concerning military service and defense” in the national parliament. According to him, this is due to implementation of the presidential decree signed on December 25, 2015. It provides for creation of regional armed forces and their subsequent integration into the single system of defense of the republic.

Kazakhstan To Build A World-Class Resort

In Kazakhstan, plans are afoot to create a new resort zone “Kenderli” with the participation of German investors. The resort will be located on the coast of the Caspian Sea, in Mangistau Province. The presentation of the project took place in Berlin. In 2015, about half of the total exports in Uzbekistan accounted for energy products and the service sector. The largest percentage fell on oil and other energy resources, namely 25.9 percent. According to the data provided by the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic, the share of energy products in the nationwide volume of exports has not changed in comparison to the results of 2014. In addition, 24.5 percent of Uzbekistan's exports accounted for the service sector.
